We were fortunate enough to hire Adam Hilton to photograph our wedding on 7 May 2009 at Toadbury Hall. What a fantastic decision that turned out to be! Adam arrived on the day and quietly and unobtrusively managed to get some absolutely stunning photos of my very camera-shy family.
He managed to create an atmosphere in which we forgot about the camera and we could just relax and enjoy the process of getting ready and most importantly, of getting married
. When he needed us to do something specific, his requests were clear and succinct and everything was done so quickly that when I looked at the photographs later I was amazed at how much he managed to capture and how well he captured it.He has such an eye for detail and angles and even got me to admit that I looked good (and I hate being photographed). We chose an album package and are looking forward to commissioning a storybook album from him in the future, but when we received the album, he had arranged the photos so beautifully, they really did tell the story of the day and each photo reminded us of the moment that was unbelievably special.
Everyone has commented on the quality and beauty of the photographs and how happy we look. Adam really did manage to capture the emotions of the day and he was such a pleasure to have at the wedding, both as a supplier and as a guest.
Our other suppliers couldn’t speak highly enough of him and any bride and groom would be privileged to have Adam capture their special day. You can put your trust in him completely and know that the photographs will be a beautiful testament to a very special day.

It was a tough decision for us to choose a photographer as we really regarded our photos as such an important aspect of the wedding because it’s really all you have left when the day is over! Adam was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was extremely professional and made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire day. He was commanding when required in getting people together for shots, but also faded into the background to catch those special moments without being obtrusive. Adam Hilton is one of the most amazing people I have ever met. The fact that he is a world-class photographer is a bonus. You cannot help but feel completely at ease. And the biggest compliment I can give him is that you never know he’s around. He doesn’t get in the way, but somehow manages to capture all the most intimate and emotional moments. Adam was early for every meeting, including the actual wedding day. He’s unbelievably passionate about what he does, and moreover, he’s passionate about your special day.
